Who is responsible

What we collect, and why

We collect personal data only where the website needs it to work or where you send it to us.

• Enquiry and project-review forms: your name, company, country, email address, phone number, the product and process details you describe, and any product photos you attach. Purpose: to answer your enquiry, prepare an engineering review and, where you ask for one, a quotation. Basis: the request you make by submitting the form and the consent box you tick.
• Server logs: the IP address, browser type and pages requested for every visit. Purpose: security, error diagnosis and operating the site. Basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure service.
• Analytics (Google Analytics 4): pseudonymous usage data — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type — collected through cookies and similar identifiers. Purpose: to understand how the site is used and improve it. Google processes this data on our behalf.
• Embedded content: YouTube videos load only when you press play (via youtube-nocookie.com) and are then governed by Google's privacy policy. WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp on your device; what you send there is governed by WhatsApp's policy.

Where your data goes

Form submissions are stored on DOKTEK's own server and delivered by email to DOKTEK's engineering team through DOKTEK's own mail server. They are read by the people who answer your enquiry. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.

Google Analytics data is processed by Google and may be transferred to countries outside your own, including the United States, under Google's data-transfer terms. No other third party receives data from this website.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries, project-review submissions and attached photos: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or for the duration of a project that follows from them.
• Server logs: 14 days.
• Analytics data: according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics, at most 14 months.
• You can ask us to delete your enquiry data at any time; see your rights below.

Your rights

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Article 11) and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you can ask us: whether we process your data and which; to correct it; to delete it; to restrict or object to its processing; to receive a copy in a portable format; and to withdraw a consent you have given, without affecting processing done before the withdrawal.

Send any request to info@doktek.com. We answer within the statutory period (30 days under KVKK). You also have the right to complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or to the supervisory authority in your own country.

Cookies

This website sets Google Analytics cookies (analytics only, no advertising cookies) and, for the site's own staff, a login session cookie on the private administration area. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data with Google's browser add-on. The site works without cookies.

When this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
