Precision Cutting & Trimming

Machine-vision-guided cutting systems identify product position, orientation and cutting points before executing a precise automated cut. Because every product is measured individually, natural size and shape variation is handled without per-product mechanical adjustment.

Eggplant stem cutting is the flagship application and an existing DOKTEK machine. Cucumber cutting and trimming, and other product-specific cutting tasks, are platform capabilities: the cutting positions are determined by machine vision and integrated with an automated cutting mechanism engineered for the product.

Vision Sorting & Quality Inspection

DOKTEK FoodTech machine-vision systems can inspect products individually and classify or reject them according to visual, dimensional or quality characteristics. Depending on the application, a system may combine industrial cameras, controlled illumination, UV illumination, deep-learning vision, pneumatic rejection and robotic handling.

Apricot sorting is positioned as optical inspection and classification: color, visible defects, shape, size, surface condition and identification of unacceptable product.

For dried figs, the platform supports UV vision-based sorting. When configured with appropriate UV imaging and illumination, the system can identify contamination-related fluorescence indicators and automatically separate suspicious products. This is automated screening and sorting support — it does not measure aflatoxin concentration and is not a substitute for certified laboratory analysis.

Are the cucumber, apricot and dried fig systems finished catalogue machines?

The automatic eggplant stem cutting machine is DOKTEK's flagship product. The other applications are platform capabilities: they use the same vision, robotics and automation technologies, and each system is engineered and configured around the specific product and processing requirement.

Can the dried fig system measure aflatoxin levels?

No. With an appropriate UV imaging configuration, the system can identify contamination-related fluorescence indicators and automatically separate suspicious products. It supports screening and sorting; it does not measure aflatoxin concentration and does not replace certified laboratory analysis.
